It's been over a week and after spending hours on here I am no closer to a solution.80% of the stuff I'm reading is over my head the other 20% does not apply.I have not remapped any keys,I have no maleware, no virus no spyware.I don't need to defrag,empty cache and have plenty of free space. I'm using Vista Home Premium and constantly reminded of 8 updates that always fail to download/install. I attempted to manually install, and the failure info states that the updates aren't compatible with my version of Windows. ???? If that's the case, why are they there? I recently received a call from Danniel from R&G Windows Support phone #: 1-226-777-0091. They said they had been getting several error messages from my computer and that they needed to get access to it. That morning, I noticed that Windows Updates were looping on update 16. I turned off the computer, turned it back on and downloaded the updates manually, all was well I thought. Hi. I have a Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Pack allowing installation on 3 PC's. It has so far been only used on 2, though is now a couple of years old. I am seriously thinking of buying a Mac, and would like to run Windows for some non Mac software I use. If I use Parallels software would I be able to use my Windows 7 upgrade disc, which is perfectly legal and has the key, to install Windows 7 on a new Mac? TIA Paul View the thread

Had to do a full recovery on my XP machine. Trying to install service pack 3 and security essentials. I keep getting promted to validate this copy of windows.Same copy thats been in it since new. I goto the sight by microsoft and it says not to navigate off the page while it is validating this copy. It will say done but copy is not validated. Any idea's? View this thread
