Any information written to the console output or files ending in .txt, .log, or .htm that are stored in the /home/LogFiles directory (D:\home\LogFiles) is streamed by App Service. Azure SQL Database provides Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) to safeguard against offline threats by encrypting the data at rest. By using a Customer-Managed Key (CMK), TDE can further enhance data protection by enabling the use of a key stored in a customer owned and managed Azure Key Vault as the TDE Protector on the server. When TDE with CMK is set at the server level, all encrypted databases associated with the server inherit the same level of protection. As previously announced in July 2023, Microsoft will begin migrating all Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) commercial subscriptions that remain in the legacy system to new commerce in January 2024. All legacy subscriptions that Microsoft migrates to new commerce will be set to an annual term with the same billing plan and seat counts that the customers had in legacy. This Microsoft-led migration will occur on the date of subscription renewal, starting with all subscriptions set to renew on January 11, 2024 and continuing throughout the 2024 calendar year. We previously announced the Deprecation of Remote PowerShell Protocol (RPS) in Exchange Online, and we’ve now reached the end of RPS. Since making the announcement, usage of RPS in our WW cloud has dropped dramatically. We have disabled the self-service diagnostic to re-enable or opt-out of this change, and we will now be turning off RPS. In fact, we will turn off RPS for our WW cloud customers by tomorrow. Usage of RPS in our sovereign (not WW) clouds has also seen dramatic drop, and we will be turning off RPS for sovereign cloud customers this month.
